Continue through argan tree forests where you might spot wild goats climbing the trees. Arrive in Essaouira around 10:30 AM.
  • Late Morning: Medina Exploration - Begin your exploration of Essaouira's UNESCO World Heritage medina. Walk through the blue and white painted streets, visit the historic Skala de la Ville with its ancient cannons overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The perfect escape from Marrakech's heat and hustle! Essaouira was absolutely charming with its blue and white buildings and fresh ocean breeze. Our guide was excellent - knowledgeable about the history and gave us just the right amount of guidance and free time. The fishing port was fascinating, and the seafood lunch was incredible. The drive through the argan forests was beautiful too. Highly recommended for anyone needing a coastal break!

As a photographer, this day trip was fantastic! The light in Essaouira is incredible, and the blue boats against the ocean made for stunning photos. The medina is much more relaxed than Marrakech's, making it easier to capture authentic moments. Our guide understood exactly what I was looking for and took us to all the best photo spots. The timing was perfect - we got to see the fishing port at its most active. Wonderful day!

We traveled with our teenage children and this was the perfect family day trip. The drive was comfortable, and Essaouira offered something for everyone. The kids loved seeing the fishing boats and trying fresh seafood. The medina was much more manageable than Marrakech's, and we felt completely safe letting the kids explore. The beach time was a nice bonus. Our guide was wonderful with the family and kept everyone engaged. Highly recommended for families!
