Detailed 8-Day Grand Adventure Itinerary

• Day 1: Marrakech Arrival & Exploration - Arrival in Marrakech, transfer to your riad in the medina. After settling in, begin exploring the vibrant "Red City." Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and wander through the colorful souks. Evening experience at Djemaa el-Fna square with its food stalls, storytellers, and entertainers. Overnight in Marrakech.
• Day 2: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via spectacular Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m). Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, famous film location for Game of Thrones and Gladiator. Continue to Ouarzazate, visit Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
• Day 3: Ouarzazate - Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Merzouga - Travel through Skoura palmery with its ancient kasbahs. Continue to Dades Valley with its dramatic rock formations and "Monkey Fingers." Visit Todra Gorge for hiking and photography. Continue through Erfoud fossil area to Merzouga Desert. Evening camel trek into the Sahara Desert to watch spectacular sunset over the dunes. Overnight in luxury desert camp with dinner and Berber music under the stars.
• Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Azrou - Fès - Sunrise over the Sahara dunes - an unforgettable experience. Return to Merzouga village by camel. Begin the journey to Fès, traveling through Ziz Valley with its impressive palm groves. Continue through Midelt and the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Azrou to see the cedar forests and Barbary macaques. Arrive in Fès in the evening. Overnight in Fès.
• Day 5: Fès Cultural Immersion - Full day exploring Fès, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Visit the Royal Palace (exterior), Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and panoramic views from Borj Sud. Enter the UNESCO-listed Fès el-Bali medina, a labyrinth of 9,000 streets. Discover Al-Qarawiyyin University (exterior), the world's oldest university. Visit traditional tanneries, artisan workshops, and vibrant souks. Experience authentic Moroccan cuisine for dinner. Overnight in Fès.
• Day 6: Fès - Chefchaouen - Morning at leisure in Fès for additional exploration or shopping. After lunch, drive through the scenic Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the famous "Blue City." Arrive in the afternoon and check into your riad. Evening exploration of the blue-washed streets, local markets, and picturesque squares. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of this mountain retreat. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
• Day 7: Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca - Morning to explore Chefchaouen at your own pace. Visit the Kasbah Museum, Grand Mosque, and the main square. Enjoy the unique blue architecture and stunning mountain backdrop. After lunch, drive to Rabat for a brief visit to the capital's highlights including Hassan Tower and Kasbah of the Udayas. Continue to Casablanca, check into your hotel. Overnight in Casablanca.
• Day 8: Casablanca - Departure - Morning visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world with its stunning oceanfront location. Explore the modern city center and Corniche. Last-minute shopping or relaxation. Transfer to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your Grand Morocco Adventure.
