Embark on a day trip to Essaouira, a charming coastal town with its whitewashed houses and its blue doors. On the way stop in the argan forest to explore the argan tree, endemic to Morocco. Visit the Argan Cooperative to explore the making process of different both cosmetic and food oils. Get to Essaouira for a lovely tour of this 18th century town, starting from the pretty active port. Look at the artisanal fishing boats and enjoy the morning atmosphere where locals get fresh fish from the catch of the overnight. Through the marine gate, walk to Hassan II Square, a great esplanade where musicians entertain passersby. Continue along medina walls to Portuguese Bastions, where few cannons are set pretending to defend the town from potential attackers. From there walk to Med III Museum, which displays the rich history of Mogador from the Roman era to the glorious period during the Sultan reign in 18th. Then pop on ‘Beit Adakira’ house of memory museum, a rich exhibition about Jewish heritage and the remarkable achievement of few families. Follow your way to Mellah, the Jewish neighborhood where you will stop to explore Haim Pinto Synagogue. From there, immerse yourselves in the colorful souks to explore different sets of local products. Stop by wood cooperative to learn about the skill of artisans, modelling raw thuya wood into pretty items for domestic use and decoration. After the morning tour, sit down for lunch at a fish restaurant. After lunch, stretch your legs along the pretty white sand beach along the Mogador island before you meet your driver for transfer back to Marrakech
